Kementerian Kesehatan (Kemenkes) melaksanakan Sub Pekan Imunisasi Nasional (PIN) Polio secara serentak di seluruh kabupaten/kota di Provinsi Jawa Timur. Pemberian imunisasi novel Oral Polio Vaccine Type 2 (nOPV2) menargetkan 8,4 juta anak berusia 0- 7 tahun. Rinciannya, Provinsi Jawa Timur sebanyak 4,4 juta anak.
Pemerintah Desa Sidoharjo Kecamatan Gedeg Bekerja sama dengan PUSKESMAS Les Padangan ikut andil dalam kegiatan tersebut. terlihat dalam kesempatan SUB PIN POLIO kepala Desa beserta Babinsa, dan bhabinkamtibmas memantau kelancaran kegiatan tersebut. (17/1)
Kegiatan SUB PIN POLIO di Desa Sidoharjo sendiri dibagi menjadi 12 titik lokasi dan dibagi menjadi 2 hari baik di tempatkan di balai posyandu atau di lembaga pendidikan yang ada di Desa Sidoharjo.
pada kesempatan yang sama Kepala Desa Sidoharjo Purnomo mengajak kepada semua warga Sidoharjo yang mempunyai anak berusia 0- 7 tahun untuk ikut partisipasi dalam kegiatan SUB PIN POLIO karena sangat lah penting bagi kesehatan anak-anak karena dapat untuk mencegah dan memutus rantai penularan virus Polio yang menyebabkan kelumpuhan pada anak.
