Pemerintah Indonesia terus berupaya membantu masyarakat yang membutuhkan melalui program bantuan sosial. Program ini menjadi bagian dari bantuan pangan nasional untuk menjaga ketahanan pangan keluarga penerima manfaat.
Penerima bansos beras ini ditujukan untuk keluarga penerima manfaat (KPM) yang telah melalui proses verifikasi ketat oleh Badan Pengawasan Keuangan dan Pembangunan (BPKP).
Penyaluran Bantuan Sosial Beras Bulog di Desa Sidoharjo sendiri pada hari jum’at 25 Juli 2025 mulai pukul 08:00 WIB sampai dengan selesai, bertempat di Pendopo Desa Sidoharjo Kecamatan Gedeg Kabupaten Mojokerto. Nampak hadir pula pada saat Pelaksanaan Bantuan Sosial Beras Bulog baik dari Pemerintahan Desa Sidoharjo, Pendamping PKH, Operator DTKS Desa, Babinsa, Bhabinkamtibmas.
Bantuan pangan diberikan oleh pemerintah untuk membantu meringankan ekonomi masyarakat Desa Sidoharjo sejumlah 250 orang yang tergolong kurang mampu untuk memenuhi kebutuhan sehari hari. Dengan adanya penyaluran bansos ini para KPM merasa senang sekali mendapatkan bantuan beras, bantuan seperti ini sangat dibutuhkan mengingat harga beras saat ini masih tinggi.
